for the Transcender Site. Your privacy is very important to us and we are
committed to protecting it. We understand that our visitors and registered users
need to be in control of their personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how
and why we collect personal data from you and how we use it. Our Privacy Policy
is designed to ensure that you are aware of how your personal data is being used
and to provide you with choices about that use.

Transcender Site or submitting your personally identifiable
information to us, you accept the terms described in this Privacy Policy. From
time to time we may modify these rules. We will notify you of any significant
change by posting a notice on our home page and information collection forms.
Your continued use of the Transcender Site after any modification indicates your

Collection and Use of Personal
Data
Personally Identifying Information. When you order our
software, ask for a demonstration product, subscribe to our newsletters, fill
out a survey, or request information on the Transcender Site, we will use our
registration screens and online forms to collect personally identifying
information such as your name, address, e-mail address, and credit card
information ("personal data"). If you send us an e-mail or communicate with us
offline, we may also collect the personal data that you voluntarily provide us
at that time. For your security, Transcender does not retain your credit card
number in any database. Each time you purchase Transcender products, we ask you
to enter your credit card information again.
We may use your personal
data in the following ways:
- For the purpose for which you specifically provided the personal data, for
example to fulfill your request to download our software or demo products, or to
respond to a specific inquiry;
- To send you updates and new releases for our software, or to provide future
service and support for your use of our software;
- To confirm that you did not experience problems in downloading or using our
products, and to alert users of our demo products at the end of the license
period;
- If you are a registered user of our software, to tell you about the
availability of updates, improvements, or fixes;
- To provide you with timely and pertinent notices of product releases and
service developments that address your needs and requirements.
"Tell A
Friend" Referral Service. If you elect to use our referral service for informing
a friend about the Transcender Site, we ask for your friend's name and email
address.
When you submit the name and email address of a friend to our
referral service, we store this data for the sole purpose of sending a one-time
email to that person and tracking the success of our referral program. Anyone
whose data has been submitted through the "tell a friend" function can contact
us and request deletion of his or her data by sending an email to privacy@transcender.com .
Anonymous
Information. You can visit most pages on the Transcender Site without giving us
any personal data. Your visit may automatically provide us with anonymous data
that is not linked to your personal data, such as your IP (Internet Protocol)
address, browser type, operating system, domain name, access times, and
referring web site addresses. Some parts of the Transcender Site use cookies and
embedded pixel technologies to facilitate your use of the Web site and to track
general traffic. You can learn more about these anonymous data collection
devices in the section entitled Cookies, below.
We use your anonymous
data to obtain general statistics regarding the use of the Transcender Site and
its specific Web pages and to evaluate how our visitors use and navigate our Web
site on an aggregate basis. We do not link your anonymous data with your
personal data.
Sharing with Third Parties
We
share your information only with service providers who help us to run this
Transcender Site or to fulfill your requests. These service providers are
restricted from using your data in any way other than for the service they are
providing. Other than these service providers, Transcender does not share your
data with any other third parties.
We may also need to disclose your personal
data to third parties if we, in our sole discretion, believe it is required by
law, to enforce our User Agreement or this Privacy Policy, or in connection with
a sale or transfer of some or all of our assets in the Transcender
Site.
Other than these limited exceptions, Transcender will not share
your personal data without your permission.
Transfer to the
United States
If you are located outside of the United States,
please note that the personal data you provide to us will be transferred to the
United States. Whenever you submit any personal data to us, you consent to this
transfer.
Your Ability To Choose
You can let us know that you do
not wish to receive any further information from us by clicking the unsubscribe
box in your User Profile or clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails we send
you. If you have
any difficulty in using these opt-out mechanisms, please let us know in an email
to privacy@transcender.com . Please put the words
"opt-out" in the subject line and provide details on the problem you have
encountered.
Please note that these opt-out mechanisms do not apply to
email that we send you to (i) confirm your ability to use the down-loaded or
online products you have requested, or (ii) provide product updates, corrections
or enhancements.
Cookies
We use cookies to allow
you to move quickly through our site, to allow you to take advantage of some of
the Transcender Site's special features, and to collect information about your
use of the Transcender Site. A cookie is a string of information that is sent by
a Web site and stored on your hard drive or temporarily in your computer's
memory. Cookies are small files and won't pose any significant disk-space
concerns. Some cookies used by Transcender.com may remain on the user's computer
after they leave the web site, but most are set to expire within 30-365
days.
Cookies benefit you by creating a more streamlined login process,
keeping track of shopping cart additions and preserving order information

you with the most relevant Web site content and marketing materials, we may also
